Peach Brandy


2.5 fresh, ripe peaches (w/o stones)
1.5 cups sugar
1/2 cup honey
1/5 bottle vodka (80 proof)

Wash fruit, drain, cut up and mash fruit. Place into a bucket.
Add honey and sugar. Cover container and let sit 24 hours.
Pour and mix in the 1/5th bottle of vodka.
Let sit 4 – 6 months and allow fruit and vodka to blend.
Strain liquour free of pulp and bottle.
Brandy can be substituted for vodka.
You can add the fruit to ice cream or other desserts – it is a shame to waste it after sitting in the vodka for so long!
